ITANAGAR, May 22: The General Observer Papum Pare District, Manoj Kr. Deka,IAS held a meeting with Micro Observers appointed for poll counting day at ZPC conference hall, Yupia today.
During the meeting, Deka briefed the Micro Observers about their role and responsibilities during the counting of votes and said that Micro Observers have to be watchful and ensure that the purity of the counting process is maintained and results at each table are correctly tabulated.
In case of any discrepancies observed during counting, they should report directly to the General Observer. He also asked them to be careful about counting of postal ballots. He further informed all micro observers that mobile is strictly prohibited inside counting hall and to adhere to the guidelines of ECI.
Nodal Officer, Micro Observer Dr. Yakar Dawe also highlighted the various instructions of micro-observers duties during the counting of votes. Among others present were ADC Tabang Bodung and all micro observers. DIPRO
