ITANAGAR, May 6: Two days after the announcement of CBSE results, Directorate of Secondary Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh has officially released the list of state toppers of CBSE Class-XII under various Government schools of the state.
Setting an example of girl power, all the first three spots have been captured by the trio of Pilli Linggi, Lukyir Taji and Yumsen Taipodia. Pilli Linggi from Government Higher Secondary School Roing, Lower Dibang Valley has secured the top rank in state with 91.8 percent (459 marks) followed by Lukyir Taji from GHSS Daporijo, Upper Subansiri as second with 91.4 percent (457 marks) and Yumsen Taipodia from GHSS Likabali, Lower Siang as third with 89.4 percent (447 marks).
As per the report from the Directorate of Secondary Education, the total pass percentage of Class XII this year is 41.79 %, a decrease of 2.56 when compared to last year’s 44.35 %.
This year at least 12,046 students appeared for the Class XII examination in different schools of the state but only 5055 students passed the examination, 4586 failed, 2405 got compartment and 378 didn’t appear for the examination.
