AALO, Jun 19: The maternity and general patient wards at General Hospital Aalo have received a facelift with replacement of all old and obsolete infrastructure by new sets of luxurious beds and shelves, painting and tiles for comfort of patients.
District Medical Officer, Dr Moli Riba informed that the new beds had been procured at old rates directly from the production centres and white washing and tiles fitting had been undertaken to create better atmosphere for patients and generate a sense of cleanliness and sought cooperation of all for its upkeep.
He said that it is just a beginning and gradually the hospital can take a better shape through government funding. Medical Superintendent, Dr Linya Lollen stressed on maintaining a sense of discipline by attendants of patients as random spitting around walls and floors of the hospital is causing hindrance in maintaining cleanliness.
All medical staff have been alerted not to tolerate any such mischievous activity in hospital and take care of the new amenities. DIPRO
