Doimukh, Aug 24: Government College Doimukh organised its ‘Induction-cum -Felicitation Programme’ on August 23 last which served  both as a freshers’ welcome event for the 1st semester students and a felicitation programme for the out-going ones graduating from the college and had qualified in entrance tests of various universities including RGU.
Principal Dr. M. Q. Khan exhorted the freshers to focus on studies and stressed on regularity of attendance, adding that success will come only if they cultivate positivity and work hard. He also gave details on code of conduct and other relevant rules to be followed including health, hygiene, dress code, general etiquette, etc.
As a token of love and encouragement,  Principal's Merit Award was given away to the achievers who qualified the entrance tests. 
Hindi Department was declared the best performing department as 9 of its students which is the highest  among all the departments had qualified in these entrance tests for higher studies. A total of 30 students from the college had cracked the entrance tests. DIPRO
