ITANAGAR, Oct 1: Green Arunachal Foundation (GAF) thanked Union MoS for DoNER Jitendra Singh and the Pema Khandu-led state government for expediting the airport issue in the state. Arunachal Pradesh is a state sharing international borders with China, therefore, it is of utmost importance that the state is provided air connectivity, said Takam Tatung, Chairman, GAF, in a statement issued here today.
In this context, Tatung appealed to the state government to pursue the matter with the Central government till its fulfillment. GAF hopes that the foundation stone of the airport would be laid by December this year as promised by DoNER Minister Jitendra Singh.
