Aalo, Mar 14: A three-day long cataract operation & free  spectacles distribution camp started today at General Hospital Aalo organised by the District Health Society in collaboration with National Programme for Control for Blindness & Visual Impairment.
District Medical Officer Dr. Moli Riba, who is personally supervising the camp, disclosed that 673 patients have registered on day one and 51 patients have been listed for cataract operation that will begin from March 16 and 17. 178 spectacles appropriate for different natures of eye ailments have also been distributed.
Opthalmogist-cum-State Programme Officer NPCB&VI Dr. Taba Khanna, Ophthalmologist TRIHMS Dr. Bai Bam and Ophthalmologist GH Aalo Dr. Tape Kaye will carry out the two-day long cataract operations. HoDs of the district were also present. DIPRO
