Itanagar, Mar 30: The debate competition with the topic ‘Has Arunachal truly evolved as a vibrant democracy since last 32 years’ which had already been conducted in various capital colleges was held today simultaneously at two more colleges namely Binny Yanga Government Women's College and NERIST.
District Administration Capital Complex is organising the debate to generate awareness on free and fair elections. At BYGWC, Tanya Rini Rupa and Yomde Lollen were adjudged winners and at NERIST Chinmay Bhattacharya and Vandana Kumari were declared winners.
All the four winners would now compete with the winners of other colleges in the inter-college debate competition that would be held at the capital’s Dera Natung Government College on April 3. DIPRO
