Jollang, Mar 30: Department of Sociology, Don Bosco College, Itanagar conducted its annual seminar today on the topic ‘Youth unrest in Northeast: with special reference to Arunachal Pradesh.’
Papers were presented on various issues ranging from the technical terms issued in collection of data, meaning of youth, youth unrest and cases of youth unrests in Arunachal Pradesh such as NERIST director issue, NIT Jote, PRC, Chakma-Hajong, stipend and scholarships etc by nine students of the department. Floor discussions which lasted for about twenty minutes followed the presentation of the papers.
Principal of the college Fr.  Dr. Jose George in his short speech highlighted the pertinence of the seminar topic. Resource person and HoD of Sociology, Rajiv Gandhi University Bikash Bage, congratulated and praised the students and teachers of the department for presenting such high quality papers.
