Longo, Jan 31: Adviser to CM-cum-57-Borduria-Bogapani MLA Wanglin Lowangdong laid the foundation stone of “Water Treatment Plant” for the augmentation of the existing water supply system to Circle H/Q, Longo and adjoining villages.
While laying the foundation stone, Lowangdong said that this major central scheme under RIDF at an estimated cost of Rs. 450 lakhs was not an easy task for approval but after a lengthy pursuit with the government finally this long cherished project is a reality today.
He said that establishment of Circle HQ, at Longo is being delayed due to land acquisition problem involving the villagers of Longo, but  now that has been settled , construction  is likely to complete followed by quick  inauguration.
