ITANAGAR, Apr 13:
Soon after being included by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as
non-official members in re-constitution of the Governing Council of
National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH), Former Minister RK
Khrimey has assured to work with full dedication within his capacity.
While making this announcement in a press conference held today at
press club, Khirmey informed that the NFCH will work under the Home
Minister, who will supervise the work as chairman with the office of
Ministry of Home Affairs North Block, New Delhi.
Also dwelling on the Dalai Lama’s recent visit to the state, Khrimey
said that the move by PM Modi is a clear indication that Arunachal is
integral part of India and the Centre is giving immense importance to
the border state. He also said that Arunachal Pradesh is an
inseparable part of India, and China should not object it.
The National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH) principally
provides assistance for the rehabilitation of child victims of
different kinds of societal violence, promotes communal harmony and
national integration. The Foundation is actively networking &
partnering with concerned State Governments, different ministries and
departments, educational institutions, NGOs and voluntary
organizations etc. to effectively implement its schemes.
