PASIGHAT, Jul 5:Former Deputy Commissioner, Retired APCS(Admin grade), and one of the prominent sons of Adi community, Tayon Darang breathed his last  on the intervening night of July 4 in Guwahat after prolonged illness. He had joined government service  as CO  in Lohit District in 1969  and served in various capacities.

Lok Sabha MP, Ninong Ering, and all the MLAs of East Siang , including Advisor to CM Lombo Tayeng, Parliamentary Secretaries and MLAs, Kaling Moyong, Tatung Jamoh, DC East Siang Tamiyo Tatak have expressed  their
deep sadness at the passing away of late Darang.

In their messages, they remembered  his contributions  in the field of public administration for the welfare of the people and
society.
