ITANAGAR, Sep 14:The Department of Urban Development & Housing will be formally launching the “Swachhta hi Seva”, an extended nationwide sanitation campaign of “Swacch Bharat Mission” to mark  the commencement of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary on October 2. Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein is expected to grace the programme as Chief Guest along with other dignitaries. A mass social service will also be conducted at the Mahatma Gandhi Park, Nitivihar on the day.
