PASIGHAT, Jun 4: The Summer football coaching camp being organized under the guidance of state coach Thomas Ering under the aegis of District Football Association (DFA) Pasighat, East Siang was kicked off on Monday at JN College playground by yesteryears player, Kaling Ering in the presence of many former players.
The coaching camp is divided into different age categories ranging from 6-18 and above for both boys and girls for an entire month and will conclude on July 1 next.
“I on behalf of DFA, gives special thanks to Tagom Padung, Kenzing Dai, Kaling Jamoh, Atum Taggu, Dr. Kaling Jerang, Oling Jamoh, Onya Padung who helped us financially for conducting this camp”, said coach Ering.
Meanwhile, Ering appealed parents to encourage their children and send them to coaching camps so that sports develop in the state and also urged athletes to grab the opportunity for honing their skills.
“Playing in local tournaments etc is not enough to take you to the destination, you will have to attend in such coaching in future and try to learn and improve your skills”, added footballer Thomas Ering who represents state football in the national level.
