Jairampur, May 15: Acting on the advice of MLA 51-Nampong  AC  Laisam  Simai and under the supervision of ADC Jairampur, department of Urban Development and Housing Jairampur in collaboration with PHED Sub-Division Nampong has installed 6 foot-operated hand sanitizer dispensers.
The dispensers have been installed at Primary Health Centre Nampong, APP Checkgate, SBI Jairampur, Community Health Centre, ADC Office and Sports Complex Facility Quarantine Centre Terit Nagar as a part of the initiative to contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic. While launching the hand sanitizer dispensers on May 13 last in presence of ADC Ibom Tao, EE UD& H Er. George Joseph, AE PHED, other officials and common people, the MLA lauded the efforts of the health workers, police personnel, various In-charges of the Quarantine Centres and interacted with the quarantined persons and expressed satisfaction with the arrangements.
He appreciated the department for its quick response and immediate installation of the sanitizer dispensers at these vulnerable locations. DIPRO
