ITANAGAR, May 22: The Government Primary Residential School, Passa Camp, Pakke Kesang has fallen prey to flashfloods once again, which arrived earlier than previous years. The school campus including staff quarter, hostels and classroom has been totally submerged due to heavy rain since last two days.
"Fortunately the school is closed for vacation after final examination held in March last," informed Headmaster T Teli. He further disclosed that flash flood hit the school on the midnight of May 21 last and submerged all school properties.
Established in 2017, with almost 100 students, Government Primary Residential School, Passa camp lacks proper infrastructure including potable water facility  and electricity till today. Every year flash flood damages the infrastructure of the school and creates fear psychosis among the students as well as among the staff.
 Earlier in March, Local MLA and state president BJP,  Biyuram Waghe acknowledged the challenges faced by the school and had assured to shift the school to a new location within stipulated time frame.
