PASIGHAT, Jun 25: Fisheries development department on Monday distributed advanced fish fingerlings to 450 fish farmers, in presence of Pasighat ADC Tatdo Borang.
Sharing his views on Pisiculture, ADC Borang stated that commercial fish farming has already established as a lucrative business venture all over the world. It provides gainful employment to a large number of people and East Siang in particular has vast potentiality to promote pisiculture. According to him, demand of local fish was increasing rapidly in accordance with population growth and therefore local people should come forward and adopt as livelihood and work with missionary zeal to be success in life, suggested Borang. He appreciated DFDO Obuk Mize and his officials for their extra efforts in promoting Pisiculture. DIPRO
