PASIGHAT, Feb 12: More than five hundred government employees including Sector Magistrates, Presiding Officers and Polling Officers of East Siang district were imparted election training here on Monday in two phases organized by the Election Branch Officer Sibo Pasing and Nodal Officer (Election training) Koj Yambang in the Pasighat Town-Club. Master Trainers Dr. DP Panda, Dr. SK Sinha and Dr. JR Padi imparted the training including demonstrations of EVM and VVPAT.
ADC Tatdo Borang while inaugurating the first round election training emphasized the importance of election training and urged the trainees to abide by the ECI rules and guidelines. 
He advised employees to attend the training sincerely and further cautioned them not to obtain fake medical certificates etc to avoid assigned election duties. “VVPAT has been introduced for the first time in addition to EVM and special care should be taken of these sensitive machines,” Borang said.
