ITANAGAR, Aug 29: In order to review the first quarter performance of the National Health Mission, the first state NHM review meeting for western zone districts was held today at the DK convention hall here in the capital.
Upper Subansiri, Kurung Kumey, Upper Siang, Kra Daadi, Lower Subansiri,Tawang, East Kameng, Papum Pare, West Kameng, West Siang, Kamle and Capital Complex were the districts reviewed.
Secretary (H&FW) & MD NHM, Juhi Mukerjee, while chairing the meeting exhorted for concerted effort from all in improving health indicator of all districts.
Stressing on quality data from districts, she categorically said that only accurate data should be fed to the portal for effective implementation of any programme in the district. She also instructed to give incentive to ASHAs on time to keep them motivated. Emphasising on full immunisation coverage, she urged the districts to make good micro planning to reduce the dropout case and sustain the programme in most effective way.
RBSK team after screening of child should refer the child for treatment and further intervention identified under 4 Ds if required, she said. Mukerjee also urged all the districts to put their best effort to score 70% for at least one PHC for Kayakalp Award .
Director Family Welfare, Alok Yirang urged the districts to work in coordination and to focus on achieving the target set for them.
Earlier Dr D Padung, Nodal officer NHM while giving the welcome address asked the house to work on any grey area pointed out during the review meeting and urged them to share the NHM reports on time.
