ITANAGAR, May 23:A coordination meeting was convened today by the Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex Prince Dhawan to discuss the proposal for setting up of camps within the Capital Complex to facilitate services to the citizens under the scheme of Government at your Doorstep (Sarkar Aapke Duar).

During the meeting, the DC informed that the District Administration will conduct the first Jan Sunvai Sammelan on June 9 next with an aim to resolve public grievances on the spot. The DC further informed that many a times, many Government schemes, including centrally sponsored schemes remain unknown to the beneficiaries for who they are intended. Therefore, it is necessary that every department should work out proper plan to create awareness regarding important schemes, information, services concerning their department, said the DC. He called every department as stakeholder and sought their cooperation and asked them to work in coordination with each other.

He also directed EAC Tame Yajum to coordinate with all the stakeholders so that preparation could be started in a proper way for the successful conduct of the programme. He further informed that the calendar of event for the whole year would be drawn for the benefit of the public.
The DC has appealed the citizens to participate in the series of camps to avail benefit of various services that would be provided.
He further informed that various services such as Aadhaar enrolment, renewal of ration card issue of water connection forms, health camps, issue of birth certificate, ST, PRC etc would be provided during the camps.

All the heads of Departments, President APWWS, President CWC, Member Secretary APLSA, Member Local Complaint Committee etc attended the meeting.
