SEPPA, Dec 16: MLA Tapuk Taku along with the chairman of Kameng Presidium School, Norbu Sonam attended the official launching program of first digital channel of East Kameng district, ‘Seppa 360’ at Nyedar Namlo, here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, Taku advised the members of the channel to be the voice of people. He urged to take it as a mission to promote and disseminate the best news and recent happening amongst the people of state, encouraging literature and preservation of indigenous culture.
Sonam also delivered a short speech on the importance of media and its role to the people present during his address.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the channel, Tutu Dolo also spoke on the importance of media in the district. He also stressed that the launching of local digital news channel in the district will mirror the social issues engulfing the district and will boost the confidence of the common people of the district.
