NAHARLAGUN, Feb 28: Amidst top medical professionals of the state and other guests, the first lamp lighting and graduation ceremony for 18 students from Arunachal State Nursing School (ASNS) under the Directorate of Medical Education (T&R) was held here today at a city based hotel. Lego attended the ceremony as Chief Guest.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest, Director of Health Services Dr. M Lego urged the newly graduate Nurses to maintain their professional ethics while on duty and to keep themselves updated on nursing rules and regulation.
Speaking to media, Principal ASNS, Boa Yania Taw informed that after the inception of Arunachal State Nursing School this is the first batch to graduate and called it a great moment for all.
‘There are 120 students in ASNS in four batches and this year we have 18 students who are passing out,’ informed the Principal while adding that every year at least 30 students take admission in GNM and 20 in ANM.
Citing that it has been challenging due to constraints both academically and Hostel facilities wise, an outgoing student urged the concern authority to provide required facilities to the institute.
Among others, Director, TRIHMS Moji Jini, Director Medical Education Dr RD Khirme and others also spoke on the occasion.
