ITANAGAR, Feb 13: An FIR against the proprietor of M/s Jaryir Enterprise and Executive Engineer, Rural Works Division, Aalo, West Siang including unknown persons for indulging in theft of firms’ documents to secure tender works was registered recently at Likabali Police station.
Informing this, Iken Tao, representing NT Enterprise and the complainant alleged that M/S Jaryir Enterprise while using their firms’ documents allegedly without any agreement or consent of theirs secured the contract works for improvement and strengthening of road from Gensi to Tatamori and Tatamori to Litemori of Rs, 88,00,000 each.
Clarifying that NT Enterprise never participated in the tender process nor is the firm interested in getting the tender works, Tao resented their firm’s name, seal and signature being misused for fraudulent means.
He called for immediate cancellation and re-tender of works and sought action against proprietor of M/s Jaryir Enterprise including officials involved in the mismanagement. “If police and RWD department fails to cancel works order, we will go to High Court to seek justice,” Iken warned.
Nyokar Taipodia, president Likabali Youth Federation alleged local MLA Kardo Nyigyor to be involved in awarding of illegal tender works. “We are not against any party or individual but such illegality must be stopped,” he added.
Meanwhile, reacting to allegations, MLA Kardo Nyigyor said, “It is nothing but to tarnish my image in the eye of the public.”
The MLA clarified that the tender process is done by the officers of the department and that he has nothing to do with it.
“If there is any evidence and proof of my involvement I should have been blamed but repeatedly citing my relationship with the Jaryir Enterprise firm’s owner is very unfortunate,” he added.
When contacted, RWD Executive Engineer Aalo Division Er T Kena informed that the works have already been allotted and the execution process has already begun.
