MAHADEVPUR, Feb 21: In a fire incident at Khamti Silathoo villager under, Lekang Constituency of Namsai District left a widow and her four children homeless.
The incident occurred on Monday last, however no casualty has been reported but all the properties were lost in the inferno, despite several attempts made by the villagers to douse the fire. The reason behind the fire incident is yet to be ascertained.
Victim Ramoti Taye informed that she and her children were out of the house during the incident. ‘After death of my husband Late Deporam Taye two months back , I borrowed some amount from others to build a small house and a shop to earn a living but now nothing is left, where will I go now ,’ she said with a heavy heart.
No administration has visited except few Police personnel till the filing of this report.
