ITANAGAR, Jun 26: The State Finance Department on Thursday released Rs 647.77 Cr out of which Rs 200 Cr has been allotted for the Planning & Investment Division of the department for implementation of the schemes under CSS, NEC, NLCPR/NESIDS, State Plan etc. for the quarter ending September 2020.
This was informed by the Finance Department through a release issued on Friday. Out of the total released amount, Rs 447.77 Cr has been earmarked exclusively for clearing last year’s pending LOCs of the contractors.
The release added that despite less collection of taxes & revenues due to the lockdown, state government is committed to give top priority to the welfare of government employees and as of now, all salaries have been released timely and approval has also been given for June 2020. DCM Media  Cell
