TEZU, May 5: In a response to the prevailing situation arising out of the Covid-19 pandemic which is befitting to their ethos, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) girls from Government Higher Secondary School Tezu distributed homemade masks here in the township on Tuesday.
The activity was supervised by Captain Rina Singh and the team also interacted with SP Lohit DW Thongon to find out the actual number of police personnel deployed on duty to deliver the masks. During their house-to-house visit, the NCC cadets spread awareness about the utility of mask, social distancing etc as per guidelines of the Union Home Ministry.
The team also distributed breakfast packets to the police personnel and other needy people in some isolated pockets of the township.
