ITANAGAR, Nov 8: Capital’s Dera Natung Government College (DNGC) concluded its 40th Annual College Day celebration with Home Minister Bamang Felix, also an alumnus of the college gracing the valedictory function as chief guest along with MLA Dumporiji Rode Bui, the guest of honour. 
Felix congratulated DNGC for actively participating in Hamara Apna Arunachal Abhiyan and urged students to join him in making Arunachal a state of good and become responsible citizens by rising above narrow communal, religion and regional barriers. He advised them not be judgmental and implored them to understand the Citizen Amendment Bill (CAB) properly before coming with a verdict. He reiterated that “we do not inherit the world but we borrow them for our children” and remarked that ideas and actions must be guided by sustainable development. 
Principal Dr. Rikam and Vice Principal Kumar Tok distributed prizes of literary, cultural and games and sports competitions while Felix gave away outstanding awards to best NCC, NSS, performers of various competitions and Houses including Mr. and Ms. DNGC-2019 to Lijum Moshing and Nayak Marok respectively. Home Minister also felicitated Ligang August for outstanding achievement in Art, Anthropology Department for March Past and faculty members Tumbom Riba and Dr. Joram Ania Tana. 
It can be recalled that the inaugural function was graced by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and MLA, Tali Jikke Tako, as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively.
