TALI, Jan 24:  Home Minister Bamang Felix today formally inaugurated the Additional Deputy Commissioner Office, Tali.
Addressing the gathering Felix expressed happiness as it is the first time that vehicles have reached Tali ADC Headquarters. ‘I’m the happiest person today because I have witnessed the sufferings of the local people due to lack of road connectivity,’ he said adding that with road connectivity now, development shall take great leaps.
He also had a word of caution for government employees. He warned them that negligence in discharging their duties sincerely and responsibly will be viewed strictly. “If you are posted and drawing salary against Tali then you must stay at the station,” he ordered. He also requested the educated lot of  both Tali and Pipsorang circles to come together for developmental activities.
The Home Minister lauded local MLA Jikke Tako for his untiring efforts to bring road connectivity to this remote part of the state. He also appreciated his far-sighted vision and plan for all round development of Tali constituency. Earlier in the morning, Felix also inaugurated the foundation stone for establishment of police station at Tali.
MLA Tako, promised to have pitch road to Tali by 2021. Thanking former leaders of the area for establishing ADC headquarters at Tali, he said “We'll together develop a model ADC headquarters.”  
The MLA also distributed mobile phones to all Gaon Burahs of his constituency. It is pertinent to mention here that mobile phone connectivity has reached Tali and the service is being provided by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). DIPRO
