Damin, Feb 1: The Mega Sarkar Aapke Dwar (SAD) cum Consultative Meeting of the HoDs of Kurung Kumey district  was held here at the administrative headquarter by the District Administration on  January 28-29 last under the guidance of Minister, Home, RD Border Affairs, PR etc Bamang Felix and MLA 21-Koloriang Assembly Constituency Lokam Tassar.
After the day-long programme, Felix chaired the consultative meeting of HoDs and advised them to be sincere while taking up developmental activities in the district. He expressed pleasure about the connecting road from Koloriang to Damin constructed by Border Roads Organization (BRO) which is the most interior place in the district and thanked BRO and also urged them to expedite the connecting road from Damin to Tasking(Lemekiang). The Home Minister encouraged the district’s youths to participate in sports as Kurung Kumey has  best potentialities in this regard. He also suggested the HoDs to conduct regular consultative meetings in various blocks to encourage the people and advised the Power Department to installed Kush Hydel within stipulated time and asked the RWD to implement the relevant technology while constructing roads. 
MLA 21-Koloriang AC urged officers to inculcate sense of responsibility while taking up developmental activities in the district and called for coordinated functioning by the working departments.  Both the Minister and the  MLA visited the educational institutions and suggest all teachers to be sincere in their duties. Deputy Commissioner Kento Riba was also present on the occasion.
A large number of local people, NGOs and staff from different places of the district  participated in the programme and received benefits from government departments during SAD.
