ITANAGAR, Sep 27: The Tirap District administration on Thursday held its 21st district level monitoring committee meeting wherein all the HoDs, representatives from line departments and outpost administrative officers attended.
In his address, Deputy Commissioner, Tirap, PN Thungon asked the executing agencies to ensure that all developments projects are completed timely while also maintaining topmost quality and directed concerned Engineers to physically visit the work site to ensure better quality and timely completion of projects.
Thungon categorically said that the working departments must submit the quarterly progress reports of all ongoing schemes to the District Administration saying that this will help in properly reviewing the correct picture or status of the on-going schemes during DLMC meeting.
The DC also asked all revenue generating Departments like Electrical, PHE&WS, Mining & Minerals and Tax & Excise to launch a revenue generation drive to enhance revenue generation of the district by 10% every month. He also directed the Department of Power and PHE&WS to disconnect all unauthorized Electricity/water supply connections and asked all the concerned HoDs to actively participate in the “Sarkar Aap ke dwar” so that effective service can be delivered to the villagers of that area.
Various HoDs explained the progress of work under their respective departments through power point presentation. The progress of ongoing schemes was reviewed during the meeting.
