BOMDILA Feb 28: The third quarter district level monitoring committee meeting was held at DC conference hall, Bomdila to review the progress and status of the centrally sponsored schemes (CSS) executed in West Kameng.
Chairing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner, Karma Leki asked the executing agencies to prepare their vision document 2029 as per the instruction from the central government.
He also instructed HODs to point out and project the ground realities in the DPR like the utility shifting provision and all other difficulties and challenges identified during initial survey. The DC called for proper implementation of the ongoing works and to ensure that there is no duplicity in various projects undertaken by different executing agencies. At the end of the meeting, DC also instructed executing agencies to carry out proper monitoring at ground level to ensure that the benefits of the scheme reaches the public for whom it is intended. 
Various executing agencies presented their report during the meeting. The WRD dept informed that the under flagship scheme of PMKSY-HKKP there are 31 projects sanctioned in West Kameng dist covering the area of 648 hectare Cultivable Command Area (CCA) at the cost of 15 crore and 3 project has started.
Out of the 14 project under PMGSY executed by RWD dept, so far only 2 has been completed such as road from Rama camp to Changpa and Road from RKS Road to Betchelling via Lungdur under Khalaktang sub division.
Under PMAAY beneficiary led scheme, in west Kameng 34 unit have been identified as beneficiary and so far 28 have been completed in the first phase. In credit linked PMAAY total of 18 beneficiaries has been selected. Also in IHHT 192 beneficiary has been identified in the initial survey and 69 IHHT units have been completed under Bomdila division and 31 sanctioned and completed in Dirang division out of 155 beneficiary identified.
