ITANAGAR, Nov 22: An educational excursion team for children of border villages was flagged-in today at ITBP, Northeast Headquarters here.  IG, ITBP Headquarters North East Frontier, Sanjeev Raina in presence of senior officers and Commandant 10th Bn, Shobhan Singh Rana received the team of 14 students.
The educational excursion sponsored by the Ministry of Home Affairs through the ITBP was successfully conducted by 10Bn ITBP for young children of border villages from class 7 to 9. Students were selected from remote Limeking and Nacho of Upper Subansiri District on the basis of their performance in studies and sports.
The batch visited many landmarks at Guwahati and Itanagar.
Inspector General, Sanjeev Raina, while interacting with the children enquired about their experience. Students were also gifted athletic clothing by the ITBP.
