ITANAGAR, Feb 17:
A state level training-cum-workshop for 2nd batch of SIRD staffers on Good Governance and generalization of Electronic Fund Management System (e-FMS) and implementation of MGNREGA in State for Block Development Officers (BDOs) of eleven districts was held here at, SIRD, Conference Hall, Itanagar.
Special Secretary (RD & PR) -cum-Director, SIRD, Nyali Ete, while informing that Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) GoI is monitoring MIS report every day has reiterated on timely updating of data in MIS portal with approval and consultation by Gram Sabha Members.
He also cautioned the participating BDOs to shun activities which may hamper progress under MGNREGA Act and exhorted them to work within the permissible guidelines. He also said that BDOs have to play proactive roles in successful implementation of the programmes.
While briefing the objectives of workshop, SW Bagang, AD, SIRD-cum-Course Director, spoke on four indicative frameworks which include Job Card, Case Record/Work File, Citizen Information Board/Wall painting etc for successful implementation of the programmes.
Director, RD, Kankar Dolum while attending the technical session has answered queries related to job issues, shortage of functionaries at blocks etc.
The training-cum-workshop programmes for both batches are being conducted jointly by SIRD &PR, Arunachal Pradesh and Department of Rural Development.
