YUPIA, Sep 26: A District Level Essay writing competition on the topic ‘Beating Anaemia’ was organized as a part of the celebration of Poshan Maah by the District ICDS Cell, Papum Pare District to create awareness among adolescent girls about anaemia and its prevention. Anaemia reduction is one of the objectives of Poshan Abhiyaan of PM flagship programme.
Girls students from Class VIII to X  from  17 schools including GHSS, GSS and VKV Balijan took part in the competition wherein Onam Techi from GSS, RGU Campus was selected as winner of first prize, Anjali Nagarale , VKV Balijan and Puskar Sarkar, GSS, RGU Campus  won 2nd and 3rd prize respectively.
