NAMPONG, Feb 24: Acting on a tip-off a joint team of Nampong Police, 171Bn CRPF and 13 Assam Rifles Nampong apprehended one ENNG cadre Sampoi Mossang  resident of  Nampong, Changlang District from Nampong Bazaar Line on Sunday last.
Mossang was collecting extortion money from shopkeepers of Nampong Bazaar area in the name of Eastern Naga National Government  (ENNG) a militant group. During interrogation, he confessed to collecting money from shopkeepers. The cadre was later handed over to Nampong Police, stated a release.
