Indian Army conducts ‘Know Your Army’ outreach
Palin, Feb 12: The first phase of the combined election training involving the sector magistrates, presiding and polling officers of Kra Daadi District was conducted at Palin on February 11.
In all 225 officers and officials attended the training programme.
DC Kra Daadi S. Miji took a session on the roles and responsibilities of the sector magistrates.
EAC Bamin Tarang briefed about the duties of the presiding and polling officers along with the arrangements of polls before, during and after the poll. PGT PN Rai elaborated on the various forms and papers to be used on the poll day.
DVO Dr Bamang Raja explained about the use of EVM and VVPAT along with mock poll procedure. Hands-on training on EVM and VVPAT were imparted to the trainees by CO Noklem Wangjen.
