Aalo, Apr 2: The General Observer for 27-Liromoba, 30-Aalo West and 31-Aalo East Darpan Jain conducted a detail meeting with representatives of various political parties under the chairmanship of RO 1-Arunachal West Parliamentary Constituency on April 1 last.
The representatives of the contesting candidates were asked to maintain Model Code of Conduct and submit daily expenditure reports as per ECI guidelines. The RO reiterated that tough stand will be taken on any law and order problem to ensure a conducive election atmosphere and a free and fair election in West Siang district.
Meanwhile, preparation are in full swing for commissioning of EVMs, VVPATs for the Assembly Constituencies of 27-Liromoba, 28-Likabali, 29-Basar, 30-Aalo West and 31-Aalo East.
Representatives of all the contesting candidates have also been asked to witness the commissioning process. The entire process is also being videographed to maintain transparency. DIPRO
