KHONSA, Apr 12: Officers and staff of DC’s office and it’s adjacent offices including the General Election Observer and all Returning Officers of 54th-Namsang, 55-Khonsa East, 56th-Khonsa West and 57th-Borduria-Bogapani (ST) assembly constituencies today assembled here at the reception centre and observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to Tenak Socia, who died while discharging election duties on April 11. 
Socia,WC(WI) of Water Resources Division, Deomali died at Lazu polling station due to cardiac failure as per medical report. Born on November 15, 1978 at Khonsa village, he joined services on August 25, 2014 and served the government of Arunachal Pradesh for 4 years and 8 months with utmost sincerity. He is survived by his wife, one son and a daughter.
Tirap DC P.N. Thungon who is also District Election Officer read out the bio-data of deceased. Condolence message has also been received from the EE(WRD), Deomali. DIPRO
