ITANAGAR, Jun 14: A monthly meeting of all DDSEs of the state was held here at the APSCTE Hall of Higher & Technical Education on June 11 under the chairmanship of Minister (Education, Cultural Affairs etc.) Taba Tedir.
The Minister while lauding the efforts of the district authorities, emphasised on the need for maintaining land  development record of each school and issues such as boundary of school campus, quality infrastructure, mentor-teacher concept etc. Detailed discussion was also held on matters such as school-wise inspection schedule, AMS update status on mid-day meal, enrolment of out-of-school students, distribution of smart phones to Class -XII pass out girl students etc.
Secretary (Education) instructed all the DDSEs to complete the process of facilitation of the best students of Class-X & XII selected from Government schools of the districts by June 18 and distribution of laptops to meritorious students under Dronacharya Yojana & smart phones to eligible pass out girl students of Class-XII by June 22. Also the target for online updation of eHRMS by all DDSEs has been fixed as June 14.
DDSEs raised the issue of shortage of clerical & MTS staff and necessity for creation of LDC & Peon posts in all Higher Secondary & Secondary schools of the state, which the HME & Secretary (Education) agreed to look into. DIPRO
