ITANAGAR, May 15:  Department of Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh has decided that all  private-aided and un-aided recognized private schools will also be brought under the purview of Arunachal Pradesh State Board Examination of Class-V & VIII with effect from the academic session 2019-20.
Further, the department has also decided to comply with the CBSE Assessment Re-modelled Structure 2017-18 where there will be 80% Board Examination in Arunachal Pradesh State Board Examination of Class-V & VIII with effect from academic session 2019-20 and 20% internal assessment, out of which 10% will be for three periodic tests, 5% for notebook submission and 5% for subject enrichment.

The CBSE based assessment model is to be followed by every Government school, Private-Aided and Un-aided recognized private school of the state. The details of above mentioned information can be accessed from the DDSE office of respective district. DEE Press Release
