ITANAGAR, May 2: As a part of expression of appreciation to all corona warriors by the Indian Armed Forces as announced by the Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, a helicopter fly-past exercise will be conducted over TRIHMS by the Eastern Air Command on May 3 between 10 and 11 am.
The fly-past which will include showering of petals on TRIHMS, the state’s designated Covid-19 hospital is being organised to display gratitude to the state’s coronavirus warriors which include doctors, nurses, paramedics and other related staff fighting the pandemic. It also aims to send the message that the nation stands together and is unitedly challenging the pandemic.
Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) has commended the gesture of the armed forces and expressed hope the goodwill message will reach the state’s Covid-19 warriors, police, administrators, GBs and NGOs. PRO Raj Bhavan
