PASIGHAT, Oct 9: Ahead of the extended State Executive meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party here at Pasighat from Wednesday in which all the ranks and files of the state BJP are attending the East Siang District Congress President has  resigned from the Congress this afternoon.
While sharing his resignation letter addressed to State Congress President, Takom Mize, District Congress President informed this reporter that he had been with Congress without any deviation from the path of Indian National Congress until today. “Stagnation of few individuals will become a stumbling block for the party in growth, hence I am resigning from the post of President, District Congress Committee of East Siang as well as from the primary and active membership from INC”, said Mize who was heading the district congress until now but finally decided to quit the grand old party of Congress.
Meanwhile, District and State BJP President along with other senior party leaders of BJP have welcomed Takom Mize to the BJP.
