PASIGHAT, May 2: The 12 hour East Siang District bandh passed off peacefully without any untoward incident today. Government establishments, banks, markets and other private establishments remained close andvehicles were off the roads during the bandh. The bandh was called by AdiSU in connection with demarcation of Inter-District Boundary between proposed Lower Siang District and present East Siang District. DIPRO
