Seppa, Jul 8: East Kameng DC Pravimal Abhishek Polumatla on Wednesday conducted a coordination meeting here with various stakeholders to conceptualize a modality for launching a special drive to enroll all PM Kishan beneficiaries in the district under the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme.
As a part of the efforts to incorporate all the district’s PM Kishan beneficiaries, DC gave the directive that all line departments must coordinate and devise a plan to launch an outreach training programme by organizing special camps to fast track the enrolment latest by July 31 and these departments are to reach out to the progressive farmers to train them and ensure maximum enrolment/registration. DC also directed all the banks based in the district to provide technical assistance and financial support to the beneficiaries in coordination with the line departments for timely completion of the special drive. The provisional LPC for farms as required under the scheme shall be prepared by the DL&RSO and services of the newly recruited Technical Assistants for census duty shall be utilized by the line departments, the directives read.  DC also urged all the stakeholders to cooperate and support the District Administration in the ongoing efforts to bring socio-economic development of the distrvict.
