YUPIA, Dec 5: District Tourism Promotion Council meeting of Papum Pare District was conducted today under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Yupia, Tabang Bodung.
In his address, the ADC called upon the district tourism department to keep proper records of all tourism assets under Papum Pare district and to streamline the leasing process of assets which are laying unused in the best interest of the department.
District Tourism Officer Tater Mize briefed the members about present status of tourism assets in the district and informed that department is taking up steps to identify the assets of tourism created in various parts of the district so that it can be protected and put to use in a proper manner.
DTPC members present discussed in length issues pertaining to leasing out various completed tourism assets in the district and other related matters. DIPRO
