YUPIA, Jun 26: District Task Force for Immunization (DTFI) Committee meeting on Routine Immunization (RI) under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Pige Ligu was held at DMO’s conference hall, Yupia today.
While citing the importance of data in health sector, Deputy Commissioner called upon Medical Officer In- Charges of all health facilities to ensure that accurate data are furnished on timely basis. He also appreciated all health workers for their relentless service in their effort to contain spread of Corona virus in the district and said that we need to work more dedicatedly till flatten the curve on COVID-19.
District Medical officer Dr.(Mrs) Subu Tasso Kampu also spoke on proper documentation of work done by MO i/cs and to intensify surveillance on MR( Measles Rubella) and AFG ( Acute Flaccid Paralysis) cases. She also said that Papum Pare has achieved 85% in Full Immunization ( FI) and it is much better in comparison to other district but we need to work harder to make our achievement higher . DRCHO Dr.Worar Taku, Dr.Victoria Sarungbam, FP, WHO and Dr. Ushma Dharod, SMO WHO gave presentation on RI microplan, RI Micro Plan 2020-21 and AFP and MR surveillance respectively.
During the meeting all RI micro plans were reviewed and discussed and directed MO i/cs to oversees discrepancies in their reporting and to submit accurate and comprehensive data in a time bound manner.
All Programme Officers like DSO, DANO, DVBDCPO, MO i/cs, and staffs from PHCs, CHCs attended the meeting. DIPRO
