Itanagar, Dec 26: Continuing its drive against MV violations, the District Administration of Capital Complex carried out Motor Vehicle checking at Papu Nalah area today. The exercise headed by OC Traffic Inspector Dolum, was carried out to check violations of MV and also to check lane violation. During checking 32 violators were detected which included 10 violators of lane rules. A total of Rs. 7100 was challaned from the violators.
Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex Prince Dhawan appealed to the citizens to obey traffic rules as they are meant for the safety of people. He further appealed that lane discipline must by adhered to as breaking of lanes is one of the major causes of traffic congestions in the city roads.
The DC stressed that the checking will continue so that people are made aware of traffic rules and learn to adhere to it.
