Ziro, Feb 3: Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies (DRCS), Lower Subansiri district Gyati Kobin has made the state proud by winning the Global Achievers Award for Industry Excellence instituted by the Global Achievers Foundation.
The award was presented during the Indo-Thai Friendship Summit-2020 on Individual Contribution for Economic Growth & Social Development in a glittering function held at Crystal Ballroom, Silom in Thailand on February 1 last. Kobin, who has been instrumental in reviving the dying cooperative movement in Ziro is also the recipient of the Mahatma Gandhi Award of Excellence 2019 given by the Iconic Achievers Council of India and had also been awarded with the State Commendation Certificate during 72nd Independence Day celebrations at Itanagar and ICDP Incentive Award in 2008.
