ITANAGAR, Nov 14: The Donyi Polo Vidya Bhawan celebrated the Founders Day cum Annual Fete Day today at its main campus.
The students of the main campus and the Preparatory School showcased their talents in various fields of cultural, literary, cooking and many more. The event was witnessed by more than 800 parents and guests. 
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Techi Kaso appreciated the efforts of the school and its students while mentioning that students from the school have excelled in various fields. He advised parents to discourage excessive Smartphone use and also stressed on the need for parents to regularly interact with school teachers to know their wards performance. 
Kaso also appreciated former Chief Minister and Chairman of the school, Gegong Apang for establishing the educational institution. 
Former fighter pilot, Group Captain (Retd) M Panging speaking as the guest of honour encouraged students to join the air force.  He advised parents to provide their children proper guidance to reap the benefits later.
CEO & Principal of the school, Levi E. Katy in his speech asserted that the school is taking care to develop students into ethical thinking citizens with good moral values.
