Tawang, Aug 4: The 6th Late Dorjee Khandu Memorial District Level Badminton Tournament which was inaugurated on July 31 last concluded today here at the Jang Sports Club which saw the participation of  a total of 120 club members from Lungla, Tawang and Jang. 
MLA Bameng G Pordung attended the closing ceremony as chief guest while MLA Tawang Tsering Tashi was the guest of honour. ADC Jang Lobsang Wangchu Bapu congratulated the club members for successfully completing the tournament and maintaining discipline all throughout. Secretary Jang Sports Club, Dr Rinchin Neema expressed happiness over the good participation of female participants especially from Tawang Sports Club and appealed for more participation from youngsters in the coming tournaments.
Tashi said that this tournament will act as an encouragement to the young generation and hidden talents from remote villages will get a platform to exhibit their skills. DIPRO
