PASIGHAT, Dec 4: Donyi Polo Vidya Niketan, Pasighat celebrated Matri Sammelan on Sunday which was organized purposefully for Women Empowerment with a daylong workshop on different issues.
As many as 300 women and children participated in the valedictory function which was chaired by Dr Joram Aaniya Tana, Asst. Prof of D.N Govt College, Itanagar as Chief Guest and Shewta Chawan, IPS, head of 5th IRBN based in Pasighat as Guest of honour. All the visiting dignitaries including the Chief Guest dwelt in their speech about the significance of women in society.
